We Are Here Scotland continues its TIP IT BACK series.
TIP IT BACK sees professional creatives join us for online sessions where they give advice, tips and more about their speciailist field and also an idea of their own journey.
We are joined on 13th March by Jenn Nimmo-Smith (Electric Shores).
Electric Shores was founded in 2013 by Jenn Nimmo-Smith. With over 14 years’ experience across the music, events and brands industries, Jenn was previously Head of Press for Chuff Media in London.
An expert in PR and communication, Jenn has worked across all facets of the music industry, from major label campaigns and spotlighting unsigned acts, to flagship club nights and large-scale multi-day events and festivals. With a breadth of experience and contacts across print, online and broadcast media both locally, nationally and internationally, she is results-driven and consistently secures quality media coverage for her clients. She loves to collaborate with the wider team across marketing and social media to bring to life the client’s story across multiple platforms and a unified approach to press.
An integral part of the Electric Shores ethos is to promote and support the contemporary music scene, with Jenn regularly giving talks and delivering workshops in the local community and further afield. Electric Shores are proud to once again be working with BBC Introducing this year for their Scottish Act of the Year Award - with their shared goals committed to supporting and championing arts and culture in Scotland and beyond.
Jenn will be telling us about her journey but also giving advice on the field of entertainment PR and press. The do's and don'ts, tips for how to approach a campaign and much more.
Please note: This session for our Black and People of Colour community.
The session is free to join, it will also be recorded and placed in the upcoming membership area of We Are Here Scotland's website.
