We Are Here Scotland continues its series - TIP IT BACK. This session will focus on FUNDING.

TIP IT BACK sees professional creatives join us for online sessions where they give advice, tips and more about their specialist field and also an idea of their own journey.

We are joined on 30th March by Jess Partridge.

Founder of Sounds & Strategy, BDT Sounds and London in Stereo, Jess Partridge focuses on supporting the international music industry through talent development, export, marketing and community creation using tools such as funding advice, mentoring, workshops and project management. With a passion for equality in music, she was responsible for setting up and developing Keychange for the PRS Foundation which now has 600+ organisations committed to improving representation. She’s created and delivered impactful programmes for EMEE, Annie Mac, shesaid.so, British Council and many more.

A proactive and knowledgeable champion of new music, through London in Stereo she was the first to give cover features to acts such as Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Ms Banks, Haai, Shygirl and Mitski. With a distribution of more than 45k each month at its height, she oversaw the publication of 80+ magazines.

Jess will be exploring funding. This will include things like looking at language around applying, do's and don'ts and more.
