Sagnick is a musician from Kolkata currently based in Glasgow, where he recently finished postgraduate studies on violin and viola at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His musical practice encompasses performance, composition, and artistic research, with a focus on highlighting the voices of underrepresented composers in classical music in the context of standard repertoire and facilitating multi-stylistic musical collaboration.

Joseph Bologne was among the first prominent Black composers in the history of western classical music and his work gives us a glimpse into the aesthetics and musical language of revolutionary France.
